Restomod Ford Mustang Fastback 1967

Here is an awesome green restomod 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback from California. This old school pony car was significantly rethought and got the best solutions which 21th century can offer for almost 60 years old muscle car. It's usually pretty complicated to review such tuning projects because almost everything here was restored, modified or replaced. But I will try to say something about this 1967 FIA Ford Mustang.

This restomod based on 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback was created by Ruffian Cars as a "gentleman's racer," drawing heavy inspiration from the legendary Shelby FIA Cobras that raced in Europe. Starting with a clean original California car, they strip it to bare metal and rebuild it to needed specifications. Only custom made lightweight carbon parts are used. This muscle car boasts a 500hp, 364ci lightweight aluminum small-block Shelby engine paired with a TKX 5-speed transmission. The 3.5" side pipes echo the iconic Trans Am race car sound. Hand-shaped fender flares extend the car by five inches, covering rear center-lock Shelby wheels, wrapped in 275 and 295/50/15 Avon radial tires.

Weighing under 3000 lbs, our '67/'68 Mustangs qualify as lightweights, yet we do not compromise on details or craftsmanship. An optional full-size race spare fits under the back glass, accessible via removable "floating" headrests. The horn button, sourced from a vintage arcade machine, nods to Chris's career as a video game designer. The handmade pistol grip shifter and e-brake lever are crafted by a knife maker. This restomod 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback offers a dreamlike driving experience. It is comfortable, simple, fast, and smooth. This is the classic car experience we all desired but never had until now.
